I had the most amazing photography adventure this weekend! It involved hot air balloons, a tulip field, a 2am departure time and a 3 1/2 hour drive. Come back on Thursday to hear all about it! For now, here is a shot of one of the aforementioned balloons.

What have you been shooting lately?

Settings: ISO 100, 100mm, ss1/320, f/11

Saturday was my birthday.  On Sunday my family took me out to lunch and for a few photography adventures on some back roads. They know me so well :o). In between adventures, we stopped at the house to refuel and I noticed there was one purple tulip blooming. The sun light was shining through the petals and I loved how it looked as though it was lit from within.

Settings: ISO 200, 50mm, ss1/500, f/4.0 (sunlight wb)
